
The organization of CCISA :

History and Mission :
The Chinese Cryptology and Information Security Association (CCISA) was founded in 1994, partially supported by the Taiwan government. CCISA is the largest and well-established association devoted to cryptology and information security in Taiwan. Its mission is to promote educational training, research and development of information security, assist the government to establish the information security standards, and participate in the national and international information security academic activities. CCISA has had great experience in organizing large-scale international conferences. It has hosted at least a national conference annually and an international conference biennially.
Aims :
The aims of CCISA are:
- To engage in the research of information security theory and technology.
- To popularize the applications and developments of information security
- To promote the researches and developments of information security around the world
Perspectives :
- To publish “Information Security magazine,” entitled as “Communications of the CCISA” and increase publication issues.
- To promote academic interchange with overseas academic groups, such as the International Association for Cryptologic Research (IACR)
- To promote research interchange and cooperation with research teams in Mainland China
- To participate in law-making and technological developments of domestic environment actively.
- To promote cooperation of group members
- To cultivate information security professions
